In the News: CNN Interview on Executive Reputation
I recently joined CNN International live to discuss Elon Musk, Tesla, and how executive behavior impacts brand equity.
I shared this perspective: Tesla might want to separate Musk’s persona from the company’s identity. Clear, consistent communication must come from the organization — not just the individual — especially when public trust and investor confidence are at stake.
Musk is a unique case. He may generate headlines but also introduce risk, especially for a publicly traded company.

We help our clients earn similar media opportunities by positioning them as trusted, quoted sources on high-visibility industry topics.

Forbes selected my recent article on AI and PR as an Editor’s Choice piece for Forbes Agency Council. In “Leveraging GenAI for Public Relations Purposes? Avoid These Common Mistakes,” I shared why PR professionals shouldn’t fear generative AI.
I also outlined how those who embrace it can lead more effectively — practical ways GenAI can help communicators boost efficiency, enhance creativity, and strengthen strategic value.
AI isn’t a threat to our profession. It’s a competitive edge for communicators who use it well.

We Reached a Key Milestone Early
Axia achieved an internal goal this year: We matched the demographic makeup of the U.S. Census two years ahead of our 2026 target. This strengthens our ability to understand, reflect, and connect with the diverse audiences our clients need to reach. Learn more about our corporate social responsibility.
Visibility That Drives Opportunity
We continue to secure strategic placements and speaking opportunities that help our clients gain the attention of the people who matter most. Last month, our clients enjoyed a 448% increase in earned media reach, including:
- A franchise client landed Forbes, Yahoo, and Men’s Journal coverage, reinforcing national credibility and driving high-quality inbound interest.
- A thought leadership client secured mentions in MarketWatch and US News and World Report, establishing their credibility and trustworthiness on financial topics.
- A crisis communications client avoided all negative media coverage during a sensitive data breach — proof that proactive PR can reduce reputational risk when it matters most.

Axia is Accredited by Agency Management Institute
Did you know that Agency Management Institute accredited Axia for excellence in agency management, operations, and financial performance? Few PR firms have achieved this distinction.
To become an accredited member of the Agency Management Institute, an agency principal must attend 50 hours of best practices education, 40 hours of additional education annually, demonstrate their accreditation to AMI staff, and re-earn peer approval annually, committing to the AMI manifesto and focusing on continual learning.
New Clients. Expanded Impact.
