How to add a social media content manager to your company's TikTok page
By Axia Public RelationsDecember 4, 2022
A quick guide to adding your social media agency and team members to your company's TikTok account
Being able to easily share access to your company’s TikTok account can help a social media manager create and publish content for your company, which will ultimately increase your visibility and brand awareness.
Currently, the only way to give people access to your account is by sharing your username and password. We suggest that you use a password manager to help minimize risk when sharing usernames and passwords. While this is subject to change, it’s the only way to give someone else access to your TikTok account for the time being. With that being said, there are a few ways to monitor those who have access to the account.

To monitor your account, you can set up two-factor authentication so every time another person logs in, they are prompted to enter a code from a corresponding email or text. You can also monitor who is logged into the account, and you can remove an account from a logged-in device.
To remove a logged-in device, go to the app and:
- Go to your profile page.
- Click on the three horizontal lines in the top right corner.
- Select “Settings and privacy.”
- Select “Security and login.”
- Select “Manage devices.”
- Once you click on “Manage devices,” you’ll be able to see what devices are logged into the account. From there, you’ll be able to “Remove” any account that you don’t want to have access. When you select “Remove” you receive an email or text with a code to enter before you can successfully remove a device.
TikTok also has a feature that allows you to create TikTok ads. To create these ads, you set up a TikTok Business Center account and create a TikTok ad account.
Now you know how to share access to your TikTok account. Share access with your company’s content managers so they can create and share content for your company.
