Applicants for the scholarship should be juniors or seniors in good academic standing at accredited universities and studying public relations or an equivalent major. Previous PR experience through volunteering, employment, or an internship is required.

The PRSA Foundation's appointed committee makes all eligibility and selection decisions. Please contact the Public Relations Student Society of America or the PRSA Foundation with any questions.
Is this scholarship available to students at other schools?
Yes, this is a national scholarship. Students from any accredited college or university may apply.
Do you have to be a PRSSA student member to receive the scholarship?
No, you do not have to be a PRSSA member to receive the scholarship.
When is the deadline to apply?
The PRSA Foundation administers the Axia scholarship, and all applications must be received through their site. They only accept applicants during the application period, which is typically late January to May. Please contact the PRSA Foundation with any additional questions, issues with the online application, or timing of the application period.
