Our seven-part framework
- Develop a character
Your StoryBrand BrandScript begins with a character from your target audience. Without a character, you leave customers waiting for the story to start. But a story truly begins when we define what our character wants. Who are they? What do they want and need? What is their ultimate goal?
- Establish a problem
Once we know what your consumer wants, we must interest them in your story. To do that, we introduce a problem. Why? Because consumers value having experts to lean on when they experience a problem.
- Guide them to a solution
We need to help solve the character’s problem — your company's consumer needs a guide. You problem-solve with them at this step.
- Give them a plan to solve an issue
You’ve now developed a relationship with the consumer, but they aren’t ready to buy yet. They need you (with some help from us!) to give them a plan.
- Call them to action
Once we’ve established a plan for your consumer to do business with you, you need a call to action. Consumers rarely take action by themselves but respond to direct calls to action. We don’t beat around the bush – we tell your consumers what you want from them.
- Remind them what they’d be missing
When we ask your consumers to take action, we also need to tell them why. We’ll give them a clear vision of how their life would improve with your products or services and why they should choose you over other brands.
- Lead them to a successful purchase
To seal the deal, we need to up the stakes. We’ll remind them of the problem they might continue to face if they don’t invest in your solution, reinforcing the benefits they’ll enjoy from choosing you.
